1 Kings 21:15
“And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive, but dead.”

Context
The final step: Jezebel presents Ahab with the accomplished fact. The man who refused is gone, and the property is now available.
What Does 1 Kings 21:15 Mean?
Jezebel's words are a kind of completion and an unveiling. She speaks the truth plainly: 'Naboth is not alive, but dead.' The repetition emphasizes the finality. She has solved Ahab's problem by removing the obstacle, the man himself, rather than by convincing him to sell. What was refused is now hers (and his) by force. The cost has been paid; all that remains is to claim the prize. Jezebel approaches this final moment with no apparent shame or hesitation. She has moved from covetousness to conspiracy to murder without so much as a pause, and now she hands Ahab the fruit of her crime as if she has simply brought him a gift.
This is the completion of the pattern. Ahab got what he wanted, the vineyard, but the cost was immeasurable. He has become complicit in judicial murder. He has compromised his kingly authority by allowing it to be used for a private crime. He has set himself against God. The vineyard, which seemed so desirable, has been purchased with blood and delivered alongside a curse that will haunt him and his family for generations. Jesus teaches us that 'a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.' The vineyard will be worthless to Ahab; it will only mark him as a man who coveted, compromised, and killed to obtain what should never have been his.
Application
When you obtain something through evil means, you do not own it, it owns you. It becomes a weight around your neck, a sign of your complicity, a claim that evil has on your soul. The only true freedom is to refuse the bait, to accept what is rightfully yours, and to trust God with what you lack.
