What Does 1 Kings 5:7 Mean?
Hiram receives Solomon's words with great gladness. A king of the nations, hearing of Solomon's wisdom and purpose, breaks out in praise to the Lord, the God of Israel, blessing Him for granting David such a wise son to rule so great a people. The joy is genuine and the praise unprompted.
