What Does Acts 13:29 Mean?
When everything written of Him had been carried out, they took Jesus down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. Paul again stresses that the events fulfilled the Scriptures to the very end, down to His burial.
Not one detail of God's word fell to the ground. The death and burial of Jesus completed the long testimony of the prophets, each prediction met in its appointed hour. The grave was real; the Savior truly died and was laid away.
