What Does Acts 26:27 Mean?
Paul presses the king with a pointed and personal question. Does Agrippa believe the prophets? Then, without waiting, Paul answers for him: I know that you believe.
This is bold and loving at once. Paul connects the king's own faith in the Scriptures to the Christ those Scriptures foretold. He does not argue abstractly but calls Agrippa to follow his own beliefs to their conclusion. The prophets point to Jesus, and Paul gently urges the king to see it.
