What Does Acts 4:26 Mean?
The quotation continues: kings standing up, rulers banding together, against the Lord and against his Anointed. The believers are about to name names (v. 27) — the psalm's cast has walked onto the stage of their own generation.
'Christ' is a title before it is a name: the Anointed One, the King God himself has installed.
