What Does Acts 7:56 Mean?
Son of man was the name Jesus chose for himself, drawn from the vision of Daniel 7:13-14, where one like the Son of man receives everlasting dominion. Jesus had told this council they would see the Son of man at the right hand of power (Luke 22:69); Stephen now testifies that it is so.
