Daniel 2:47 Meaning and Explanation

The king finds words for his wonder, confessing that Daniel's God is a God of gods, a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, proven by the unveiling of this very dream. The pagan monarch is led, by the revelation, to honor the true God.

This is the fruit the whole episode was driving toward. The Chaldeans had said no god dwells with flesh; now their king proclaims a God who reveals secrets to His servant. One faithful witness, one answered prayer, and the most powerful man on earth begins to acknowledge the Lord. God's purpose was never merely to save Daniel, but to make Himself known.
