After raising and covering the tabernacle, Moses places the testimony in the ark, brings the ark inside, and hangs the vail. He sets the table on the north side outside the vail and arranges bread upon it before the LORD. Verse 24 places the candlestick opposite the table on the south side, and verse 25 lights its lamps before the LORD. The gold incense altar then stands before the vail, and incense burns upon it.
