Moses and Aaron go back to Pharaoh, and God starts to show the most powerful king in the world Who is really in charge.
Today's Story
God told Moses, “Go to Pharaoh again. I am going to show all of Egypt that I am the Lord.”
So Moses and Aaron stood before the king. Aaron threw down his staff — and it became a snake! Pharaoh just smiled. He called his magic men, and they threw down their staffs, and those turned into snakes too. But then Aaron's snake opened wide and swallowed every one of theirs. Still, Pharaoh's heart stayed hard. “No,” he said.
So the next morning, God sent Moses to the great river — the river all of Egypt depended on for water. Moses lifted the staff and touched the river. And right in front of Pharaoh, the water turned to blood. The fish died. The whole river smelled terrible. There was nothing clean to drink in all of Egypt.
The magic men did a little trick to copy it — but they couldn't turn it back. Nobody could. Only God has that kind of power. Yet Pharaoh spun around, marched into his palace, and would not listen.
God was being patient. He was giving Pharaoh chance after chance to do the right thing and let His people go.

- God kept being patient with Pharaoh, giving him chance after chance. When has someone been patient with you?
- Pharaoh trusted in his power, his magic men, and his great river. What are some things people trust in instead of God?
