What Does Galatians 3:29 Mean?
Paul ties the whole argument together. To belong to Christ is to be counted as Abraham's offspring, for Christ is the true seed, and all who are in him share his inheritance. The promise reaches them through him.
So the Gentile believer needs nothing more than Christ. United to him, they are already Abraham's seed and heirs by promise. The inheritance comes not by law-keeping or lineage but by belonging to Christ, in whom every promise to Abraham finds its yes.
Galatians 3:29 in the Original Language
kleronomos (κληρονόμος), 'heirs' -- those who inherit, here according to promise.
