What Does Galatians 3:8 Mean?
Paul says Scripture itself, speaking ahead of time, saw that God would make the nations right with him through faith. The promise to Abraham — that in him all nations would be blessed — was the gospel preached in advance.
The plan to bless the whole world by faith was no afterthought. It was woven into God's word to Abraham from the start. The good news now reaching the Gentiles is the fulfillment of a promise centuries old. God always intended to gather the nations through faith in him.
In the Original Language
