How our Bible study guides are made
A clear research trail matters. This page explains what comes from Scripture, where outside sources enter, how assisted drafting is handled, and how readers can request a correction.
Scripture is the primary text
Every chapter guide begins with the biblical text. Readers can switch among the translations available on the site; commentary, highlighted phrases, and original-language callouts are anchored to the King James Version wording unless the page says otherwise. Commentary is a study aid, not a replacement for reading the passage in context.
How sources are selected
Chapter sources are chosen for a specific claim or interpretive aid—not to make a page look well sourced. We prefer stable primary or institutional pages: manuscript and museum catalogues, archaeological collections, original-language tools, translation notes, and established research publications. Numbered references in a guide link to a visible source register so the reader can inspect the evidence directly.
An external source can clarify a word, historical setting, object, or manuscript. It does not determine doctrine by itself, and inclusion does not imply endorsement of everything its publisher teaches.
Writing, software, and AI assistance
Learn of Christ uses software to organize Scripture, connect translations, check internal references, and prepare portions of its large study library. AI-assisted drafting and editing may be used in that production process. AI output is not treated as a source or authority. The published site remains the responsibility of Learn of Christ, under the editorial direction of Jaeden Schafer.
Because this is a growing library, readers should test every explanation against the passage itself and consult trusted pastors, teachers, and scholarly resources where a question is consequential or disputed.
Publication history and updates
Chapter pages display dates derived from the version history of their own content file. A page receives a new modified date only when that chapter content changes; visiting or rebuilding the site does not manufacture a fresh timestamp. Sitemap dates use the same record.
Corrections
If a source link is broken, a quotation is wrong, a historical statement lacks support, or an explanation misreads the passage, please send the chapter URL and the specific sentence through the contact page. Substantive corrections are made in the chapter record so its visible update date changes with the content.
Editorial scope
Learn of Christ is explicitly Christ-centered. It aims to explain the text plainly and to show how each chapter fits the larger biblical story. Where Christians interpret a passage differently, the responsible approach is to name the disagreement rather than present one disputed reading as the only possible view.
