Why he built Learn of Christ
The idea for Learn of Christ started in a youth Sunday school classroom. While teaching the Old Testament to teenagers at his church, Jaeden kept running into the same wall: it was surprisingly hard to find genuinely good resources that helped ordinary people actually understandthe Scriptures — not just read them. He set out to build the thing he wished he'd had: a free, ad-free place to read the Bible and study it with clear, trustworthy help, and an honest guide to the apps, websites, and books worth using.
That guide became the resources section you're reading now. Jaeden writes and edits the reviews himself, with one rule: no sponsorships and no affiliate links — just what's actually useful for someone trying to grow closer to Jesus through His word.
Background
Jaeden's love of Scripture was formed early and deliberately. At eighteen he left home for a two-year church-service ministry mission in France, returning at twenty. He went on to complete four years of scripture seminary, and he has spent years teaching the Bible in his local congregation — most formative of all, the Old Testament class that sparked this whole project.
Alongside Learn of Christ, he hosts the Learn of Christ podcast and AI in Faith, a show about what technology means for Christians and the church. Originally from Vancouver Island, Canada, Jaeden now lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and their three children. His aim for everything he makes is simple: to spread the love of Jesus to everyone.
