What Does Job 10:2 Mean?
Having resolved to speak, Job now frames his prayer as a plea to God directly. He does not deny that God may have grounds, but he longs to understand the charge against him. The word 'contendest' pictures a legal dispute, as though Job stands accused in a court whose reasons he cannot see.
