What Does Job 10:7 Mean?
Job holds two truths at once. He insists that God knows he is not a wicked man -- his suffering is not the wages of secret crime. At the same time he admits that no one can be rescued from God's hand; the Almighty alone holds his fate. It is a cry of innocence pressed against overwhelming power.
This is faith refusing to lie about itself while still bowing to God's sovereignty. The believer can plead his case honestly and yet rest, knowing the hand that none can resist is also the hand that was pierced. To be wholly in God's grasp, for the one who trusts Him, is not terror but safety.
