What Does Job 2:3 Mean?
The Lord Himself raises Job's name and repeats the high praise of chapter one: blameless, upright, God-fearing, turning from evil. Now He adds that Job 'holdeth fast his integrity' through the first wave of loss, and that it came 'without cause' as far as Job's own conduct went. Heaven testifies to a faithfulness the sufferer himself cannot see.
