What Does Job 20:25 Mean?
Zophar describes the deadly wound in graphic detail. The arrow or blade is pulled out, glinting, drawn from the man’s very body and vitals, and “terrors are upon him.” Beyond the physical stroke lies an inner dread that closes over his soul. The outward blow and the inward terror arrive together.
