Job 9:10 Meaning and Explanation

Job sums up the hymn: God's works are past finding out, and His wonders cannot be numbered. The list of stars and seas and mountains only gestures at a greatness that overflows every attempt to measure it. The more Job sees, the more there is he cannot see.

This echoes the same praise others in Scripture have raised, that God's ways are unsearchable and His judgments beyond tracing out. Such immensity could crush a sufferer, yet it can also steady him. A God this great is not stumped by our troubles. The wonders without number include mercies we will only discover later, and some we will never finish discovering.
