What Does John 11:32 Mean?
Mary's words are Martha's exactly (v. 21), but the posture is her own: she falls at Jesus' feet, where the Gospels consistently place her (Luke 10:39; John 12:3). She says only this one sentence; weeping carries the rest (v. 33).
