Joshua 10:36 Meaning and Explanation

The campaign ascends to Hebron, a high and ancient city in the hill country whose king had also joined the coalition. Joshua and all Israel go up and fight against it. Hebron carried deep significance as the place associated with Abraham, and now it too is brought under the conquest.
