What Does Joshua 19:35 Mean?
The fortified, walled cities of Naphtali are named, among them Chinnereth, which gives its name to the lake later known as the Sea of Galilee. These were strong towns set for protection.
Beside this very lake the Lord would still storms, feed multitudes, and proclaim the kingdom. A town named here as a fortress sits on the shore of waters made holy by His presence. God marks out in advance the ground of His grace.
