What Does Joshua 8:1 Mean?
The previous chapter ended in failure: hidden sin in the camp brought defeat at Ai and left Joshua on his face before God. Now, with the sin judged and removed, the LORD speaks again. His first word is the same word He gave Joshua at the very start of his commission: "Fear not, neither be thou dismayed."
