What Does Judges 12:3 Mean?
Jephthah finishes his defense by recalling how he went out alone, taking his life in his hands, when no help came. He gives the credit for the victory to the LORD, who delivered Ammon into his hand. Then he presses the painful question: why have you come to fight against me?
