What Does Judges 18:22 Mean?
Once the Danites are well down the road, Micah rouses his neighbors, and together they gather and overtake the migrating tribe. A small band of countrymen pursues an army of six hundred.
The chase is born of loss and anger, Micah unwilling to let his shrine and priest go without protest. Yet the great gap in strength already foretells how the confrontation must end.
