1 Corinthians is a letter Paul wrote to help God's family love God and each other. In this part, Paul reminds them that God always helps us do the right thing.
Today's Story
Paul wanted to tell his friends a true story from long ago. God's people were walking through the desert. God took such good care of them! He sent a cloud to lead them and gave them water and food in places where there was none.
But sometimes the people forgot to trust God. They grumbled and complained and chased after the wrong things. “Learn from them,” Paul said gently. “When you feel like grumbling or doing wrong, remember how good God is.”
Then Paul shared the most comforting promise of all. “When something hard or tempting comes,” he said, “God is faithful. He will never let it be too much for you. He always makes a way out, like a door you can run through. You are never stuck!”
And Paul gave them one wonderful rule to live by. “Whatever you do,” he said, “whether you eat or drink or play or work — do all of it for God. Let your whole day be a thank-you to Him.”
God was with His people then, and He is with us now. He always helps us choose what is good.

- Paul said God always makes a way out, like a door you can run through. How does it feel to know God will always help you?
