2 Thessalonians is a letter Paul wrote to help God's family love God and love each other.
This is the last part of the letter, and it is full of good encouragement.
Today's Story
Paul was almost done with his letter, and he saved some warm words for the end.
First he said, “The Lord is faithful. He will make you strong.” That means God always keeps His promises, and He gives us the strength we need.
Then Paul talked about work. Some friends had stopped helping out. They were just sitting around while everyone else did the jobs. Paul said, “Everyone should do their part. If you can help, then help! Pitch in. Be useful.”
And here is the part to tuck deep in your heart. Paul said, “Never get tired of doing what is right.”
Sometimes doing the right thing feels hard. Sharing when you do not want to. Being kind when someone is grumpy. Helping clean up. It can make you want to give up. But Paul says, do not stop! Keep doing good, again and again, even when it is hard.
Then Paul said goodbye with a gift: “May the Lord give you peace.” What a happy way to end a letter.

Talk About It
- What is one good thing you can do today, even if it feels a little hard — like sharing or helping clean up?
- When have you felt like giving up on something? What helped you keep trying?
- Paul said God is faithful and makes us strong. How does it help to know God is helping you do good things?
