Acts 28 for Kids

Paul finally reaches Rome — and the good news about Jesus can't be stopped!

Today's Story

After the shipwreck, everyone made it safely to an island called Malta. The islanders were very kind and built a warm fire for the cold, wet travelers. As Paul gathered sticks for the fire, a snake suddenly bit his hand! The people thought he would surely die. But Paul just shook the snake off into the fire — and he was completely fine! God protected him. Then Paul prayed for the sick people on the island, and God healed many of them.

After some time, Paul sailed on and finally arrived in Rome — the great city Jesus had promised he would reach! Even though Paul was a prisoner, he was allowed to stay in his own rented house, with people coming and going.

And what did Paul do? He kept right on telling everyone about Jesus! Day after day, people came to his house, and Paul taught them about God's kingdom and the Lord Jesus — boldly and freely, with NO ONE stopping him!

The good news had traveled all the way from a little stable in Bethlehem to the biggest city in the world. And it kept on going, and going, and going — all the way down through the years, until it reached YOU! Nothing can ever stop the good news of Jesus.
