God kept showing Ezekiel His new land. In this chapter, God shows how He wants His people to share fairly and play by the rules.
Today's Story
God showed Ezekiel how the land would be shared out. “Save this special middle piece for me,” God said. “My house will go right here, and the helpers who serve me will live close by.” It was the best spot, given to God first.
Then God gave a piece of land to the leaders — the people in charge. But God had something important to say to those leaders.
“Stop being unfair!” God said. “Stop pushing people around and taking what isn't yours. Be fair. Be honest. Do what is right.”
And then God talked about something that might surprise you: weighing and measuring. Back then, people would weigh food and pour out grain to buy and sell. Some sneaky people used tricky scales that gave too little. God said, “Use honest scales. Use a fair cup. Measure the right amount every single time. Don't cheat — not even a little.”
God cares about the big things and the little things. He wants His people to be fair when they share, honest when they count, and kind when they trade. Because that's what God Himself is like — always fair, always true.
A Big Word

Talk About It
- When have you wished someone would be more fair — maybe sharing a snack, taking turns, or splitting up toys? How did it feel?
- God cares about little things like measuring the right amount. What is one small way you could be honest and fair today?
- God said to save the best piece of land for Him first. What is one good thing you could give to God first — before anything else?
