Hebrews 13 for Kids

For Kids · 3 min with a grown-up

Hebrews is a letter written to help God's family love God and love each other.

This is the very end of the letter, full of warm tips for everyday living — and one big promise about Jesus.

Today's Story

The letter is almost finished, and it ends with kind reminders for God's family. “Keep on loving one another,” it says. Be kind to visitors and make them feel welcome. Remember people who are sad or stuck, as if you were right there with them. Share what you have. Be happy with what God gives you.

Then comes one of the most wonderful lines in the whole Bible: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Think about that! Toys break. Seasons change. You grow bigger every year. So many things change. But Jesus never does. The Jesus who loved people long ago is the very same Jesus who loves you right now — and He will still love you when you are all grown up.

The letter says God will never leave you and never walk away. So you can be brave and say, “The Lord is my helper.”

What a happy way to end the letter: Jesus is your forever friend, and He never, ever changes.
