Job 10 for Kids

For Kids · 3 min with a grown-up

Job kept talking honestly with God. He had a lot of big questions — and he brought every one of them to God.

Today's Story

Job was still hurting, and he still did not understand why. So he kept on talking to God about it.

“God, I have so many questions,” Job said. “Why is this happening? I just do not understand.”

But then Job remembered something that helped his heart. He remembered who had made him.

“Your hands shaped me,” Job said to God. “You made me, every part of me, like a potter shaping clay. You gave me life. You watched over me with love.”

That was true, even on Job's hardest day. The same God Job was asking his questions to was the God who had made him on purpose and cared about him.

You can do the same thing Job did. When you do not understand something, you can ask God your honest questions. And while you ask, you can remember this: the God you are talking to is the One who made you, knows you, and loves you.
