Judges 10 for Kids

For Kids · 4 min with a grown-up

God's people turn away again, then come back — and discover how much God's heart cares.

Today's Story

Sadly, God's people fell back into their old pattern. They forgot God again and started worshiping pretend gods. And once again, trouble came, and life got hard for them.

So they cried out to God: “We have sinned! We turned away from You. Please rescue us!” This time, they didn't just ask for help — they actually got rid of their pretend gods and turned their hearts fully back to the real God. They showed they really meant it.

And here's the tender part the Bible tells us: God could not bear to see His people suffering any longer. His heart was moved with care for them. Even though they had wandered away so many times, God's love for them was deep and strong. He couldn't stay away from His hurting children.

That's the heart of God! He doesn't hold grudges or stay angry. When His people turn back to Him, His heart fills with care, and He's ready to help. No matter how many times we wander, God's caring heart welcomes us home.
