Leviticus 26 for Kids

For Kids · 3 min with a grown-up

God made big, warm promises to His people — He wanted to fill their lives with good and walk right beside them.

Today's Story

God gathered His people close and made them some wonderful promises. “If you walk with Me and follow My good ways,” He said, “watch how I will care for you!”

“I will send rain to grow your crops. Your fields will be full of food. You will have plenty to eat and a safe place to sleep. I will give you peace, so you can rest without being afraid.”

And then God gave the most beautiful promise of all: “I will walk among you. I will be your God, and you will be My people.” God didn't just want to give His people good things — He wanted to be right there with them.

God also told them that turning away from Him would only bring sadness, like wandering away from someone who loves you. But even then, He promised something tender: “If you come back to Me, I will remember you. I will never forget My people.”

God's heart was full of good things He wanted to give. He simply longed to bless His people and stay close to them.
