Leviticus 27 for Kids

For Kids · 3 min with a grown-up

The last chapter of Leviticus is about giving special gifts to God — because people loved Him and wanted to say thank You.

Today's Story

The book of Leviticus ends with something sweet. God's people loved Him so much that sometimes they wanted to give Him a special gift — just to say, “Thank You, God. I love You.”

Maybe someone wanted to give God some of their animals. Maybe someone wanted to give a piece of their land, or save up something precious just for Him. When a person made a promise like that to God, it was called a special promise.

God taught His people that promises made to Him really matter. When you tell God you will give Him something, you keep your word. A promise to God is a precious thing.

God also reminded them to always give a part of what they grew and gathered back to Him. It was a happy way of remembering that every good thing comes from God in the first place.

And that is how Leviticus ends — with people glad to give, and a God who treasures every loving gift His people bring Him.
