In this part of Revelation, Jesus sends letters to His friends in different towns. He knows each one by name.
Today's Story
Jesus asked John to write some letters for Him. They were like notes from a King who knows you and loves you. Jesus sent them to groups of His friends who met together in different towns.
To one group, Jesus said something gentle but important. He told them, “You work so hard for Me, and that makes Me glad. But I miss something. You used to love Me with all your heart. Come back and love Me like that again!”
To another group, Jesus said, “I know things have been very hard for you. Keep on trusting Me. Do not give up. Stay close to Me, no matter what.”
In every letter, Jesus showed He was watching with kind eyes. He saw the good things His friends did. He cheered them on. And He promised that everyone who stays close to Him gets a wonderful gift — to be with Him forever.
Jesus knows each of His friends. And He knows you, too.
