Revelation is the last book in the Bible. God gave a man named John a big dream to show that Jesus wins in the end.
Today's Story
In his dream, John sees a special scroll — like a rolled-up letter from God. It is sealed shut with seven little buttons of wax. Nobody can open it. Nobody but Jesus.
So Jesus, the Lamb, begins to open the scroll, one seal at a time. As each seal opens, John sees pictures.
He sees horses. He sees that the world has sad and scary things in it — people fight, and people hurt, and the ground shakes. John watches, and his heart feels heavy.
Some of God's people, who had loved Jesus their whole lives, call out, “How long, Lord? When will You make everything right?”
And God hears them. God gives each one a soft white robe. He tells them, “Wait just a little longer. I have not forgotten. I am going to fix every broken thing.”
John is learning something important. The world has hard parts now. But Jesus is holding the scroll. Jesus is the One in charge. And Jesus is bringing a better day.
