What Does Luke 10:21 Mean?
This is one of the few places the Gospels show Jesus exultant. As the seventy rejoice, he rejoices over them — ordinary, unschooled people to whom the Father has unveiled what the learned missed. His joy turns at once into thanksgiving, a window into the constant communion of the Son with the Father.
