What Does Luke 11:51 Mean?
Jesus brackets the whole sweep of the martyrs of Scripture: Abel, the first righteous blood spilled (Genesis 4:8-10), and Zacharias, stoned in the temple court (2 Chronicles 24:20-22) -- from the first pages to the last in the order of the Hebrew Scriptures.
