What Does Luke 19:11 Mean?
Jericho lies a long uphill day from Jerusalem, and pilgrim excitement is at its height. After the words of salvation at the house of Zacchaeus, the crowd concludes that the climax has come: surely the kingdom will burst into view when he arrives. Jesus reads the expectation and answers it with a story.
