What Does Luke 24:43 Mean?
Jesus eats before them — publicly, deliberately, while every eye watches. The demonstration is unanswerable: an apparition does not take food and eat it. Peter later preached exactly this, that they did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead (Acts 10:41).
