On the mountainside a large herd of swine is feeding, for this is Gentile country. The spirits beg leave to enter the swine, and He permits them.
The permission unmasks them; what they intend for any creature they inhabit is about to be shown in full. Even in this, nothing happens outside His word: the demons act only by His sufferance.
