What Does Mark 6:1 Mean?
After raising the daughter of Jairus, Jesus travels from the lakeside back to his own country, Nazareth, the hill town of his upbringing. The disciples follow, so the visit is also a lesson for them: they are about to watch how familiarity receives the Holy One.
