What Does Matthew 7:27 Mean?
Jesus describes the identical storm striking the foolish builder's house. The same rain, flood, and wind that the first house withstood now beat upon this one, for trials come to every life alike.
This house falls, and 'great was the fall of it.' The collapse is complete and ruinous, for it had no true foundation.
