What Does Revelation 12:6 Mean?
With the child safe on high, attention turns to the woman left below. She flees into the wilderness, but not into abandonment, for God has already prepared a place for her there. For twelve hundred and sixty days she is fed and kept in that refuge.
The wilderness in Scripture is where God meets and sustains His people, feeding them with bread from heaven when they have nothing of their own. The number marks a measured season, an appointed time with a limit set by God.
