What Does Romans 16:23 Mean?
More companions send their greetings. Gaius is Paul's 'host,' opening his home both to the apostle and to the whole church that met there. Erastus held public office as the city's 'chamberlain,' or treasurer, and Quartus is named simply and warmly as 'a brother.'
