What Does Titus 2:13 Mean?
Paul lifts the believer's gaze from present living to future hope. As grace teaches us to live godly lives now, it also fixes our eyes on what is coming: the blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ, whom Paul exalts as our great God and Saviour. The first appearing of grace points forward to a second, glorious appearing.
