Christ Presbyterian Church

About this church

Christ Presbyterian Church in Terra Linda worships Sundays at 9:30 a.m. at 620 Del Ganado Road in San Rafael, with a simultaneous YouTube livestream and recorded services. Worship includes professional musicians and soloists, prayer, thoughtful Bible-inspired preaching, and occasional hands-on art. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month at an open table, with children welcome to participate at a parent’s discretion.

The congregation describes inclusion as a hallmark of Jesus’ ministry and welcomes people across ages, backgrounds, and lifestyles. Its membership in More Light Presbyterians makes full LGBTQ inclusion—including marriage and ordination—an explicit part of church identity. CPC also functions as a community hub beyond Sunday through free intergenerational events, a 24-hour community refrigerator, children’s clothing and gear exchanges, concerts, support for neighbors experiencing hardship, and partnerships with local organizations. The stated mission is to nourish people in body and soul while reducing isolation, loneliness, and financial strain. For a newcomer, the service offers music and spacious prayer without requiring prior liturgical familiarity, while the livestream provides a useful preview. The Del Ganado Road campus is active throughout the week through community care, pastoral support, fellowship, and opportunities to share resources.
