Trinity Community Church

About this church

Trinity Community Church gathers at 1675 Grand Avenue in San Rafael for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m., with a livestream available for people joining remotely. Tuesday Bible study begins at 7:00 p.m. The church describes itself as Christ-following, Bible-based, and Pentecostal, relying on the presence and gifts of the Holy Spirit to deepen love for Jesus and empower service. Sunday begins with all-family worship; children and students then continue in age-appropriate ministry downstairs in the children's wing.

The congregation's history includes affiliation with the Assemblies of God in 1942, incorporation as San Rafael Assembly of God in 1947, and a move to the Grand Avenue property in the early 1970s under the Trinity Community Church name. Today its community life includes prayer, Bible teaching, children's and student programs, a playground open for church and community use, and neighborhood events such as an Easter egg hunt and Christmas-tree lighting. The church emphasizes relationships that help people grow in love for Jesus and one another rather than treating faith as an individual project. Visitors can sample the sermon library or livestream first, then expect a 10:30 gathering where families start together and younger participants have a dedicated setting later in the service.
