Marin Covenant Church

About this church

Marin Covenant Church holds Sunday gatherings at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. at 195 North Redwood Drive in San Rafael, with the 9:00 service streamed live. A typical gathering runs slightly more than an hour and includes contemporary worship, prayer, and a message; communion is celebrated on the first Sunday each month. The congregation welcomes people who are committed, questioning, or simply exploring and organizes its ministry around worship, discipleship, and families.

Children from six weeks through fifth grade begin in the main gathering with their families, then are dismissed to age-appropriate Sunday School at both service times. On a typical Sunday, middle and high school students share waffles before 10:45 worship; middle schoolers leave for Sunday School around 11:00 while high schoolers stay in the service. All students remain in worship on first Sundays. Separate Wednesday groups meet from 7:00 to 8:45 p.m. for middle school and until 9:00 for high school. This makes 10:45 the most fully coordinated option for households with teenagers, while either gathering works for younger children. Visitors can expect a multigenerational, socially diverse congregation that emphasizes hospitality, spiritual growth, and serving Marin County.
