Decorah Covenant Church

About this church

Decorah Covenant Church is a multigenerational Evangelical Covenant Church congregation where adults and children share leadership in music, prayer, Scripture reading, and other parts of worship. Its community welcomes hard questions and spiritual struggles while centering biblical engagement, meaningful worship, discipleship, and Spirit-empowered compassion, mercy, and justice. College students from Luther and NICC participate throughout church life, including worship, teaching, nursery service, Life Groups, and Wednesday formation.

Sunday worship begins at 9:00 a.m. in person and by livestream. Nursery care for birth through age three is available during the service. During the school year, ages four through second grade may leave partway through worship for stories, play, and child-centered worship; activity bags support children who remain in the sanctuary. Wednesday Clubhouse Kids serves ages three through sixth grade with Bible lessons, songs, games, projects, and stories. Warehouse Student Ministry meets during the school year: grades five and six gather first and third Wednesdays 3:15–4:15 p.m., grades seven through nine weekly 6:15–7:30, and grades nine through twelve weekly 7:00–8:15. A shared Wednesday meal begins at 5:30. Public pages do not specify service length, dress, parking, accessibility, nursery staffing, child check-in, secure pickup, screening, Communion frequency, or livestream delay.
