Community Baptist Church

About this church

Community Baptist Church in Slidell holds Sunday worship at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., with Sunday School for all ages at 10:00. Wednesday Bible study and prayer, children's programming, and youth ministry all begin at 7:00 p.m. Nursery care is available at every service, and children's church operates during the 11:00 gathering. The church says every children's worker has completed a background check and safety training, giving families specific information about the care process before they arrive.

Worship centers on Bible preaching, congregational singing, time-tested hymns, special music, and choir. Students in grades six through twelve meet during the Sunday education hour and on Wednesday, with camps, retreats, and monthly activities adding further connection. A bus ministry provides free local transportation for children, teenagers, and adults who otherwise could not attend, while outreach teams visit neighbors, follow up with guests, and offer practical compassion. Community Baptist's two-service schedule places the education hour between identical worship options, making it easier for households to combine classes and worship. The nursery, transportation, and safety details also make its welcome more concrete than a general invitation.
